Default talking to her

I have had my car for over 40 years.Through thick and thin I still have her in my life.I sometimes go out in the grarge and just look at her, sometime I talk to her.It puts me at ease when I work on her and complete a project asking how she like it.Am I crazy or dose this happen to others? Just wondering Vince

I have had my vette for 33 years, while I dont talk to it, I talk to myself sometimes working on it. I often drive it when I have some emotional need to remind myself of something, or conjure up a certain feeling. Frequently I will visit old friends and bring her along, just for that back in the day feeling and bring out a few good old war stories. And it never ceases to attract new attention.

Sorry, I don't talk to mine. I do however swear at it continuously. Just my way of keeping my sanity.

Talking is good. If she answers back, seek immediate medical attention.

I've done a lot of things to my car but never anthropomorphized it.

Sometimes, just a long hard look, and then a smile, just lucky to have them.

My 61 which I have had for 43 years just turned 51 years old. Seems content now with the new DART engine and the T-45 5 speed, no demand for face-lift. We get along pretty well.

However, does not like C-3, C-5, to be parked in the garage and REALY hates the 95 C-4. Maybe because they are same color or something...expresses displeasure by intermittent leaking on the floor or squealing the throw-out bearing until warm if 95 in garage.

Does seem to tolerate the Avanti being in garage. They seem to have a common feeling of being older but stylish with lines that get better with age.

Call me crazy too , but we've been to gather over 30 years and I do talk to her the same way like I do my dog. Why because she don't talk back and tell me what's wrong with me like an other woman I know will. After a long trip I thank her for being so good to me and she always looks great and ready to please me.
