love the comment about where the original parking brake was located. Also 2 speed powerglide, 1959 corvette had two speed powerglide?

I was there every day but can't say I remember seeing that car but since I'm not into resto-rods, I probably walked right by it without giving it a second glance. Yes, 59's could be ordered with a Powerglide.

There is a fuel cell in the stock location and the filler for it is behind the passenger seat.

A lot of detail. That trim on the car was all made by the shop except for the fender spears and the cove molding. Everything else was fabricated from aluminum. Lots of welding and then filing and sanding. A lot of attention to detail.

That's a nice car, but looking at how Jay fit in the car, I don't think I'd fit very comfortably. I'm pretty sure Jay is only 5' 10" tall and his knees were at 3 and 9 o'clock on the steering wheel. If it had a larger wheel, he wouldn't have been able to drive it.

I thought I remember some guys on this forum that are over 6' tall that have a C1. Is there something different about this car that makes it smaller than an original?

Looked like the seat was up close, maybe non adjustable?

The seats seem really thick so probably due to that.

I like customs. I also like resto-mods (I'm building one now.) but that seemed like a really nice car to carve it up. I would have preferred it had been a little more of a basket case before...

To each his own but I think the rear wheel fit in the back fenderwell is funny looking as all get out.
Looks like the rear suspension collapsed..
