Default Do you have a pet name for your car???

You know, those silly little names we give to stuff we own.
When I picked up my 62 in Los angeles we made the obligatory trip to Disney land in Anaheim, and I guess that had an influence, but the main reason we called it "Mickey" as in the mouse, was it was full of mickey mouse repairs, and kept breaking down on the way home. One day driving, one day fixing. Any stories out there for a cold January???

I gave it my wife's name. It make it more fun when you tell people you are out in the garage fooling around with her.

My old '59 I had while in college was the 'blue mouse' because it "rats around".

The Money Pit, were expensive parts are devalued by putting them on a car.

Sometimes when things are not going well during some sort of mechanical repair it could be

"you M******F****** Piece of S*** C*** S****** Maggoty **** ********** **** complected ***** garbage ***** ******** ***** crap." Or something similar.

Me too! Except EVERYthing has to be asterisked out.

My wife named the '61"'Ole Bess" and it sorta fits. My '66 Mustang convertible (now sold) was "Sweetie-Pie" (had power everything and loaded). My hot-rodded '66 Mustang Fastback (sold in '98) was "Mr. Mustang"...as it was a 400HP beast. All names provided by my wife and daughter.
