Default '62 dual points question (Pertronix)

I got my Pertronix ignitor and am in the process of installing it. The instructions call for putting it in place of the "leading point." Can anyone give me some advice on which one it is?

My guess was that it would be the one that opened first, but I was turning the distributor while out of the car, clockwise (from the top) and I honestly don't know if that's the correct direction. Laugh all you want, I know... gimme a break, I'm 24 and this is honestly the first car with a distributor I've really worked on.

Here's a pic of the ignitor installed, my guess was the side closer to the rear of the car. It didnt make sense that the wiring then had to loop around to the other side of the distributor to go through the grommet and out to the coil.

Post this and ask "LARS" in the C3 Section; he's like the GURU of distributors & carbs. :yesnod:
