Default 66 Owners with headrests

Does anyone else with a 66 with headrests have the passenger seat flip forward and hit the glove box door when hitting the brakes? Has anyone thought of a remedy to solve this? Just curious.

With heavy extreme braking - yes but don’t recall hitting the glove box - but I have my seats in the rear most position at all times. It happens so infrequently that I never gave it a thought re a remedy

Bob,
Over the years I have replaced three glove box doors because of the problem you describe. Finally (slow learner) decided to store passenger head rest behind the seat. You can make a good argument that the '67 seat back locks was GM's answer to the problem. Bill
