Default A 1957 Corvette "Fuelie" drawing

Hi all, this is a Corvette drawing I just completed. I do this as a hobby and stress relief and have shown some other drawings on the other generations of this forum, and I just wanted to post this here for everyone one who would like to see it. This drawing is 11"X14" done with pencil and took me about 25 hours to complete, almost two hours alone on the crossed flags!! Hope you all enjoy it!!

Sunvisors were NOT available 56-58. They became an option in 59 and standard equip in 61.

I was gonna bring that up Tom but I figured since I couldn't do a decent job of drawing even the sun visors that I'd clam up...

Sorry, my fault!! The reference pic had them and I am not overly familiar with the options (apparently!) of those years. I guess the owner decided to add the visors themselves? Thanks for the heads-up though. Unfortunately , I've already sealed the drwaing with a fixative to keep it from smudging so I won't be repairing this one
Always learning...........

Very nice, I would have much more "smudge" than car if I did it.....

I failed to mention that it is an EXCELLENT drawing! I do well to draw a picture of a square, much less a 57 Vette!

I admire someone who could draw like this. My talent stops at stick figures.
Absolutely great!

Very nicely done, even with the sunvisors You are very talented. My drawing skills began and ended with stick figures

That is amazing! Real nice job.

I also like to sketch but I am nowhere near your level. I'd love to hear any tips you might have on how to take what I'm doing to the next level. My sketches still look like sketches, yours look almost like photographs.

I'm not trying to hijack your thread, but I'd love any tips. Here's one I drew of a friend's 69 Z/28:

I used to draw like that... It takes alot of time, concentration and effort.

very nice...

Alot of ways, I am ashamed I have not picked up a pen, pencil or brush since I gave it up 10 years ago. Now, my artist focus is working on the car.
