Maybe you can help me. I took my hardtop off yesterday and the passenger side hold down bracket fell off the top. It has 3 rivets, not pop rivets, that pulled off the top and are still in the bracket. I'm thinking I'll drill them out and replace them with short screws and a little epoxy in the holes. Got another suggestion that doesn't include taking the top apart? It's not an NCRS car.
Thanks

The holes should be tapped. Size depends upon the hole condition (whether it has been abused in the past). 4-40 or 6-32 should usually work. You can get stainless or zinc plated just about any place (Ace Hardware, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc).

I did have loose rivets, and I just replaced the rivets with those I obtained through Glassworks. But of course my top was apart which made it easier to get to.
Let us know how you decide to do it.

Hardtop
I ended up using pop rivets.
The bracket appeared to have been riveted on originally to the stainless trim, which is too thin to tap. I was afraid small screws would just pull out the second I tightened the bolt down. It's solid as a rock with the rivets
