Correct starter for 1964 Corvette L76?
Were all starters the same, or did the L76 engine use a different one?
Anyone know the part number for starter, and solenoid?
I'm looking at a used one to buy and don't know if the early 1964's used the 63's 1107242, or if the 1107320's which were used for 64-67 began for later 1964's. I guess it's a question of overlap, how many '63 parts were used for early 64 production. Don't know. The starter in question is a June '63 starter.

According to the 63/64 Judging Manual the '64 had starter # 1107320. The Solenoid in very early '63 were #1119919 and early 63 through mid '64 were # 1114304. Late '64 were #1114356.
