Default DONE!!! Outa here tomorrow. 57 restomod

Here is my original post. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...-go-again.html And another a few weeks later http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...-your-car.html And if you want to see the whole ugly thing go here www.photobucket.com/bobmericle
Brought back from the dead. Ls3, Tremec magnum 6 speed, Corvette Correction chassis, blah, blah, blah. I've spent the past 3 weeks trying to get cruise control.....got it!! 1016 hours, 3 1/2 months. From junk to a pretty nice car. This car had been cut in half, and had a 58 rear end, including the doors. I widened the rear fenders 1 1/2", added a new nose and fiberglass radiator support. It was butchered beyond belief. I'm glad to see it go. The guy that owns it is flying in tomorrow, and driving it back to Springfield MO.

That's probably about right. This guy paid WAY too much for the car to start with, but I'm so cheap that he will still be "right side up"!! LOL. This thing really was a POS!!

Mike,
Your talent is freakishly amazing. Outstanding job turning a pigs ear into a silk purse. I'd love to have that car in my garage, even more so knowing you are the one who built it.

You did magic again, I may need you to paint the other half of the prototype as they are thinking of fearuring ZR-1s at Amelia Island in 2015. I am letting you know so I can get in the que,

Did you talk the guy out of heading to the Flordia Keys and back through the Smokey Mountains right after he picks it up before he works out the bugs?!!

Paul

Mike all I can say is

You are performing automotive miracles on these old POS cars that you take on.
