the only side that i had a problem was on the passenger side. i had to grind a relief in the end of the motor mount, not the support, for the compressor bracket to clear.

They were used on LT-1s, 350/350s, and Z-28 Camaros. IIRC, some other years/engines also used them, but they were painted.
This is a set with crinkle black paint. After the paint drys, an emery board is used to "sand" the ribs.

Looks like you welded the other bracket to the manifold to overcome some of its short comings. I know other people who also did this.

Toddalin,
Yep, welded both front and rear of that piece of crap bracket. Front welded-on tab bolts to the front bolt hole on the later style heads. Rear is welded directly to the header flange.
Has not caused an issue for the last 12 years.......since being welded.
I agree that your mount would solve the problem, but mine is already "attached".
Now if I have a problem removing that header with that alternator bracket welded on to the header flange, I will come a calling.

In the picture posted by the OP, his manifold holes are on the front (end) and he mounts the alternator to the front, and not the side of the manifold. Lets not confuse this anymore than it already is.

as long as the alternator and the new a/c belt don't want to occupy the same pulley grooves as the stock alternator position belt does AND he has 2-1/2" exhaust, his easiest route is to just buy a chinese rightside manifold and use the F bracket.
if he has 2", then i would buy both sides and just have a reducer made to tie the manifold to the exhaust pipe. VERY easily done by a muffler shop. these manifolds are inexpensive and of surprisingly good quality...

sorry, his picture was not clear to me as to how it was mounted.

If you want to try this one and it doesn't work, I'll take it back and return your money, less my out of pocket shipping cost, if you pay the return shipping.
I don't know your situation, but often minor trimming of the motor mounts is done for headers and such.
