Default Miss-badged car?

Is this car badged as FI? I can't quite make it out but I think it is sporting the Fuel Injected badge on the fender.

For some reason the link to the car he is discussing is not showing up in his post. You have to "quote" his post in order to see the raw post text and thus the referenced URL.

The URL he included is

In the old days it was cool to put FI badges on your car to impress the drive-in crowd. Nothing special here.

Or it could be an original FI car that someone got frustrated with and stuck on a carb and air cleaner. But much more likely that the badges were added to get that extra horsepower boost. Kids still doing that today on their Mustangs with fake Cobra badges or the old ones who just add the 5.0 badges. I even stopped to look at a C4 recently as I noticed the ZR-1 badge. Me: "Is that a real ZR-1." Answer: "No." Me: "OK, thanks. See ya later."
