Buyers remorse going on four years. Like the stock broker says, " relax, the price will come back ". If your talking yen, rubles, pesos, or marks, ask someone across the water. Price will be higher and rest assured it will never travel the streets of the states again. Consignment franchisers are waiting for your call with valid promises.

Have another beer, leave it in the corner of the garage, and have the best storage shelf in town.

Based on Taxes
After 47 years I think it should have depreciated itself to $0.00 by now.

I always base my Agreed Value on not what I think my car is worth, but at what I could actually go out and buy one for to replace it, if my car got totaled.
Everyone on here would probably say my car is worth 40-45 but every Vette like mine listed for sale around me is way over 50.

And if I was to purchase one at an auction, like Mecum...... even more money

He asked the question 4 1/2 years ago.

Maybe he knows what it's worth now?

Yes, thanks. I know I wouldn't sell it for even close to that so I guess that's what matters.

As far as 4-1/2 years go by, it's hard to believe, time really does fly. Scary. I have driven it all over, fixed some things, but I like to drive it. I no longer care what it's worth frankly, I don't ever plan to sell it.

Good attitude. I feel the same about my car.

That's what they were made for! Enjoy the thing, you can't put a dollar value on the fun.
