Default 1967 Corvette Odometer

I have a 1967 Corvette Convertible that the odometer or tripometer does not work, however the speedometer does work. Any ideas what problem might be and how to fix? I would appreciate any help.

Very common problem with mid years. You will have to take the cluster out and have it rebuilt or restored

It goes with the territory. That's the best way to fix it correctly.

This may answer how they can be so many low mile C2s. I think the same problem persisted into the C3s.

Thanks, I talked to Rick after I seen your response and he seems to know his S*it and is very informed, plus he has been doing them for 20 years. Thanks for the info..
