15 X7 rally wheel variations?
Hi,
How many variations are there of the 15 X 7 rally wheel? I did a search and couldn't find, is there a list anywhere with the codes and back spacings?
A friend with a '67 found a set supposedly from an early Monte, he asked me if they would fit his car.
Thanks,
Paul

"YH" or "FW", +0.30" offset, originally GM #3997899, used on '69 Camaro Z/28 and on '69 Camaros with JL8 4-wheel discs, and '70-'72 Monte Carlo (also used on some disc brake station wagons). This wheel will move the inboard rim flange inboard another 3/4", and will move the outboard rim flange outboard another 1/4" vs. the stock 15 x 6 rim.
"AG", -0.28" offset, originally GM #3910799, used on '68 Corvette. This wheel will move the inboard rim flange inboard another 1/4", and will move the outboard rim flange outboard another 3/4" vs. the stock 15 x 6 rim.

Melting Slicks
Just a caution; The Camaro/Monte Carlo wheel will interfere with parking brake cable bracket and possibly the spring end in the rear. It should work fine in the front however.

I'm only aware of two 15 x 7 OEM rally wheels:
"YH" or "FW", +0.30" offset, originally GM #3997899, used on '69 Camaro Z/28 and on '69 Camaros with JL8 4-wheel discs, and '70-'72 Monte Carlo (also used on some disc brake station wagons).
