Default Old Corvette Drag Cars

This may have been on the Forum, and if it has, I apologize. Enjoy. Some pretty colorful cars.

A number of pics of Dick Moroso's '61 at different years and configurations. One interesting one is when it was black when Dick lent the car to Paul Vanderlay for a couple of years. Basically it was "here take the car, but return it to me when your finished" !

Wow - that is quite a collection. Makes you wonder how there are any C1 Corvettes around that weren't carved up at one time or another for the track. Thanks

Well we know that P T don't have any, all his have build sheets and window stickers etc. Oh wait they didn't have build sheets back then nor were there window stickers. Heck you may see some of them go threw the BJ Auction this coming month.

The art work on many of those cars was spectacular. A lot of thought and creativity went into that. A lot of '56/57 cars, too. They always looked great in race form, more so than the later models.

That's the spirit - however, many probably went on to become resto-rods also I suspect.

Default Old Drag Race Corvettes

I was pleasantly surprised to see my old drag race 57 Corvette in the video. I sold it many years ago to a guy named Tom Payton and now I have seen it a couple of times on "Pass Time" and here. Almost makes me want to get another.
