$20/25 laps. A Lot of Fun for the Money
For those in southern climates who have the luxury of no snow, roads without salt, and where you can drive with you top down all year round, this is what we do for fun when the C1/C2s go into hibernation until May.
For the dollar, you don't get much more excitement than this on a cold January day in Wisconsin.

Yes. They are a Menard's studded tire (as in John Menard). Much more aggressive than the old highway studded tires of years gone by. Some of the AWD Subaru STi cars can exceed 120 mph on the straights. I had a Mazda GTX AWD Rally car that could hit around 110. Because of the AWD it was tough to pitch in the corners. It wanted to push real bad but on the straights it would light 'em up. The FWD cars are probably the most fun to drive as you can maneuver around the S's fairly easy by using the right amount of throttle and steering inputs.

For the east coasters look at www.icerace.com
I raced with this group for 20 years. Started with Corvairs and finished up with Honda civics. One year , early on, a friend ice raced a split window ! No studs at the time, max speed 40-50. Bob
