Default brakes and rear bling

So, I couldn't get the eBrakes to pull tight and decided to see why... took off the rear caliper and the driver side cable ball wasn't staying in the slot for the brake sleeve. Got that all resolved and realized why the brakes felt a little soft when I bled them as well - Eureka, there are two bleeders on each caliper - DOH!! Sometimes you feel like a nut! I remember telling myself that when I bought them but a lot of water has gone under the bridge since I put them on. Couldn't see the backside bleeder with the tires on so will get them all bled soon. Also prepped the #4 body bolt covers for attachment now that all the body gaps are set. Fixed the back up light glitch, the end had just come out of the socket on install - easy. Got the exhaust rings attached to the rear valence and chased out all the threaded inserts on the car so it and the rear bumpers can go on soon - love all the shiny stuff!!

Default I really am trying tom!!!

Hilarious! Working as much as I can to get her on the road and out into the sun - last night I got the #4 covers installed. This weekend is rear valence/bumpers, rear wheel well undercoating and hopefully start the door vent windows.

Default rear wheel wells

Here's a pic of the #4 cover reinstalled before undercoating, started the rear bumper brackets...

I don't know if you're gonna post pics of the undercoating, but I would like to see what you do. I've been going back and forth about leaving it as is, body color, or bed liner. After seeing yours I'm definitely going with the black but may still go with the bed liner depending on what you undercoat pics look like.

Just to let you know your trailing arm bolt is pointed in the wrong direction.

Default baby got back!

Just a bit of final tightening to do but the rear bumpers are on!! I'll get the exhausts rotated back into position and do the valence and exhaust tips next.

Default rear complete

Finally got all the tweaking/adjusting done on the exhausts, tips and bumpers. Really came out nice but took a while - isn't that the case with most things?! Masked off the rear wheel wells and sprayed the undercoating, here's a pic of the stuff I used and results. Stuff is messy if you're not careful!! Then I got all four of the splash pans installed. Less than 10 things on the "to do" list now!

Thanks for posting. I'm really leaning towards bed liner for the bottom. I know a lot don't like it.

Default Late night

Got on a roll last night so I'm paying for it today. Finally got up the nerve to tackle the w/s trim after fixing a couple of electrical issues. Then just kept going and put the mirror and visors on, the visors may be backwards - trying to find a pic...

Looking good Rhett. Yes, I think your visors are reversed. Hard to tell from AIM 1ASM-E4. If you don't have an AIM, I can send you a pic of that page. Bill

Rhett, yours are reversed. Looking thru some of my picture collection, everyone has them on the other way. They have to be installed so the kicked out ends clear the roof latches when they are flipped up (with the roof latched). Cheers, Bill

Default Vent windows

Put the side weather stripping on for the vent windows and then reassembled the vents with new rubber. The passenger side went together and installed great but the driver side pivot angle needs to be adjusted slightly so the vent sits in the frame evenly.

Default Headed to the Tuner's

Finished the other vent window and installed the door windows. Installed the hood and cowl grilles. Now working on the door panels. It's going to the tuner tomorrow as it is running a bit rich and has a small, intermittent miss fire. They'll get all the settings just right and put it on the dyno for fine tuning. After that is inspection, alignment and convertible top. Should be on the road in a couple weeks!!
