I noticed the engine compartment paint is a different sheen from the body. What was used there?

It's just flat clear coat, we used it in the door jambs, under trunk lid and under the hood.

I think it tuned out great.

I do too! You mean a clear with flatten sprayed over the same paint used on the exterior?

This is one of my favorite shots of the car to date....really shows off the modified rear bumpers.

I'm not certain about the frame, I belive its from a early 70's Corvette, and he modified everything to fit with the C4 suspention. One of the cool things is that he reused the entire engine cradle it bolts in just like stock.

He wanted to use this style because midyear & C3's all used a perimeter frame at the center and this is what allowed him to lower the floors.

Turbos are finally mounted and plumbed. I love these valve covers they are a very high quality piece, billet aluminum from Nasty Performance.

Default Very Nice.

Beautiful job of both mounting the turbos and plumbing.
Do you have any plans or ideas for heat shielding areas that might get to hot?

Thanks! Hoping the heats not too much, rather not wrap or use shielding if we can get away with, just wanted to keep everything clean a simple under the hood.

Very nice Rob, what's the brand and part number of your radiator? Looks like it fits perfect in the support.

Thanks! We wanted to do something different, only a handful of force fed C1's and I've never seen a twin turbo C1, so we thought why not...

Hoping to hear it run in the next couple weeks, can't wait!

Updated pics! Check out the custom hood hinges, they lift the hood up and away, it gives us a ton more clearance for the intake from the intercooler.

I just can't get over how attractive this color is to my brain! I was hoping to see it with polished aluminum wheels because I think that makes the paint "pop", for lack of a better term, but that might just me my own personal taste.
The only other car I have seen with a similar color combo was an original 289 street version AC Cobra. You are going to have a really amazing car, especially with those turbos!

Thanks guys! I love the color, I think when the red interior goes in it's going to pop.

We are planning on a custom made set of one-off designed wheels from Kompression Wheels. I think they will be polished lips with brushed 10 spoke centers.
