Radiater advice
I am new to the forum, and need some advice about putting in a new radiator. I may want to show my car in the future, what brand would b best. I have a 67 small block. Thx for any replies

If you weren't a newbie, I wouldn't ask this question.

There is only one maker of correct, reproduction, aluminum radiators; DeWitts.
Fortunately, the DeWitts radiators are a very high quality piece, made in the US. They're not cheap, at about $800, but if your looking for an OEM style radiator, there are none better.

And keep in mind that whatever problem you're having isn't likely to go away unless you use a correct radiator. This forum is full of threads by people that tried to do something other than use the correct radiator and had persistent problems.

In real estate its. "location, location, location".
In vintage Corvette cooling its, "DeWitt, DeWitt, DeWitt".
However MikeM has a point - what problem are you trying to solve.
Many have thought their car was overheating and found out instead it is the notoriously inaccurate temperature sending units found on early Corvettes.

radiator advice
Thx to all who replied, i just figured out how to see ur replies. I did buy a three core alluminum on ebay from muscle road performance designs. Any comments before i put it in. Also one of the cross braces in front of the radiator is broke. Are those that important? My friend has a 65 big block and his car does not have the braces at all. Thx mike

Sorry forgot to mention that the radiator was leaking in two spots. That is why i was replacing it. One shop said they may be able to repair it. Anyone had luck with that kind of repair?

You never told us what kind of radiator you had; if it was a Corvette stacked-plate Harrison aluminum radiator, they can't be repaired. If it was an aftermarket copper/brass look-alike replacement, it may or may not be repairable, depending on the nature of the damage.

Eh I bought a DeWitts but and after it was installed and filled we discovered a leak on the unit (factory defect). After spending $50 to ship it back and after spending an additional $120 in labor to swap out the radiators, I have a working unit.
Maybe I got that 1 in a 1,000 defective unit but it still left a sour taste in my mouth.
