Drifting
My daily driver from March, 1964 to June, 1967:
1963 Corvette Convertible (S/N 14541) with a '64 hood - Silver Blue, White Top, Dark Blue Interior, 340 hp, 4-speed, 3.70 Posi, Michelins, no radio, no power anything -
SCCA Toledo rally above; a photog from 'Corvette News' was shooting pix at the end of the rally and, honestly, asked me, "What color is your car?"
I drove it year 'round, including blasting through a snow drift at the end of my driveway to get to work one nothern Indiana near blizzard day. Made it there and back with no trouble. Actually it was fun, very few other idiots out on the road.
At an SCCA gymkhana. Then the inevitable, girl friend (above - a Mustang owner) to wife (now 46 years) to pregnant wife (eventually 2 daughters) to a trade for a '68 Barracuda...

REALLY loving this thread
Enjoying these pics!
Thanks to the OP and all that have contributed.
Looking forward to seeing more!
Although my personal history with this 65 began in 99, I do enjoy taking pics in locations and styles that would not have been much different in this car's earlier years.

Since non-Corvettes are being included in some cases here are a few from the early to mid 70s. I was an engineering student when I owned the goat. Seemed like the muscle car era had peaked and most students were into other things and driving around in VW and Ford vans. But I stayed involved with muscle cars.
Sure wish I still had the old 4-speed Goat. The 4-speed Trans Am was a slug when I purchased it new but a cam, intake, headers, high ratio rockers, re-jetted carb, re-work distributor, 3.73 rear and 2-1/2 inch SD exhaust system really woke it up.

Wouldn't that be strange....a pair of matching 56 rags sitting in the laneway.
Edit:....you aren't kidding, small bloody world isn't it?

Picture was taken in Norwalk, CT. at Norwalk Tech. on Richards Ave.
Richard gave me the picture at Kissimmee this past January.

This shot, August of 72, is at my GF's house to become my FIL's house in just a few months. At this point, I'm at Fort Ord in Basic Training and wondering if we all will get sent to Vietnam:
Then, after a year or so, the car is transferred to my Dad’s home and is stored there until my return from duty in Germany. Was sent there to serve in the Army at the 97th General Hospital, Frankfurt, ’73-‘75.
My little sister at the wheel wishing she was old enough to drive, June of ‘74:
We had rented a house on our return from the military that was out in the country with no garage, so my Dad let me keep the Vette in his garage for a couple of years. We moved to Bellevue, WA and found a place with a one car garage, perfect for the Vette. Not exactly sure of the year here (’79 or ’80) but behind the Vette is a new 280Z. My wife’s first company car. I’ll be the first to admit I was happy to see this car and will admit too, I was just a little jealous as well. Her boss at the time (car guy) told her to go out and pick a car. I told her to get the 280Z (thinking, yeah, right). You can only imagine the look on my face when she rolled up in that car:
We move on to purchase our own home in Kirkland, WA, June of ‘82. A two Car Garage! Now I can keep the Vette and my 32 Ford PU in the garage. I drive the Vette from this location for a year or so and then get busy finishing up college at the U of W along with starting to build my business career, so the car hobby languishes for many years:

Daniel, love the photo history---you did not make the mistake that some of us have made with our prior vettes when we sold them---to a man, I think most of us regret those decisions.

Autocross and drag race photos, 1967--68--69 vintage.
The drag staging area photo was taken at Keystone Raceway in New Alexandria, PA
Not sure where the autocross photo was shot.... maybe Greensburg Mall in Greensburg, PA
