Man that must've been some good times. 2 great racetracks and the wife helping you get dialed in. Looks like you were running at the sharp end of the grid to boot!

That has got to be one of the more rare hemi cars....I didn't even know they were putting hemis in anything besides the Cuda/Challenger in 71'.... That's the first time I've ever seen a 71' Hemi GTX....and a wild color combo at that.... Gorgeous, rare car.
I know you wish you still had that one....

Google says only 11 '71 4 speed Hemi GTX's. Wow!
A buddy had a '71 440 6-pack 4 speed...and we thought it was rare. Says there were 62 of those.

Hey Jim;
Thanks for noticing the car . Believe it or not, I actually owned one of each!
I am in Buenos Aires at the moment but will post a few pictures next week.

My mind is going!
Man, I am getting old (and forgetful)! I "thought" that I recalled owning a 71 Plymouth 440/six barrel GTX. In fact, it was really a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner. A few pics are attached.

NCRS meet in Palm Springs about 1982. Gathering parts for my 54 Vette #241. The El Camino next to it was also loaded with 54 parts. Bought the Jimmy CST from original owner in 1977. Then converted to one ton axles and a BBC. That truck hauled home lots of great projects. In the early 90's I converted it to 2WD and Muncie 4 speed. Sold it about 1994.

70 Yenko Deuce
Jamie, one of the guys who did such great work on the two recent Corvettes that went to BJ, once owned my 1970 Forest Green, 4-speed Yenko Deuce. As I recall, he ran it through the quarter mile a few times with impressive results. A few more recent pictures are attached. One at a time due to file size.
