Nice story

I grew up wrenching on and driving these cars. The 332/352/390 engines were mostly dogs, but the 427 was a different animal. Especially with the dual quads.

Finally moved from Fords to BB Mopars around 1968, but these older Fords have a special place in my life.

Great vid Rob, thanks for posting it.
There is a member on this forum that has an identical car, it's even red, sitting in a barn semi disassembled. 427 Fe stick and all, I don't thin he's touched it in ten years or more.
A Ford friend was interested in buying it, but the asking was way to high...
I was at Ford Carlisle a few years back when it was the "lightweights" reunion, all weekend long Galaxy FE's rumbling around, and then the 1/8 drags Friday night, just too cool for words.
