66 Dipstick correct

I'm not really sure how to answer your question, as the Corvette Parts Book is a little hard to figure out in regards to the 66 small block dipstick.
My 1972 Corvette Parts Book shows 3862730 for "65-72 Corvette (327, 350) (exc. F.I.)". Dipstick 3864974, is listed for "65-66 Corvette w/Sp. H/Per., F.I. (exc. 427)".
Sp. H/Per. is Special High Performance, which I believe was 327/365 in 65, but may have been also the 327/350 in 66?
Either dipstick should work. The Parts Book lists the dimensions for 3862730 as 20 5/32" from the Full mark to the handle and 20 59/64" from the Add mark to the handle. 3864974 has the same 20 5/32" dimension, from Full to the handle, while the Add to handle length is listed as a marginally different, 20 15/16".
I'm can't imagine that you'd ever even notice the difference, between 20 59/64" and 20 15/16"!
