The car is a 1964 coupe silver blue 912, and the interior is silver/blue
491 BA. Both books from Adams and rogers show the only color for silver /blue interior is 916 dark blue, 936 white, and 940 silver.. The car has factory air, am/fm radio. if I understand adams the code should read 491 MN, but not with a silver blue car 912. thanks for any help

To interpret 491BA one webpage stl-vettes.com requires ECL decoding which will need to know if your is a St. Louis or AO Smith car, and the body build date from your Trim Tag. Post that data or a picture of your Trim Tag and then can give you that result. Another site, rogerscorvette.com lists 491BA as correct for silver and blue vinyl interior

I will get a photo of the trim tag. I was surprised to see on stl-vette my car would be a base car, no windows, no auto trans. which is correct, but the car has factory AC.

Lots of cars that now have AC didn't have AC when built.

Lots of cars were ordered with AC and nothing much else too.
