Default 1966 - Capacitor next to Headlamp Switch

I have a 1966 Coupe. There is a capacitor next to the headlamp switch and the wire is just hanging. What should it be connected to? Thanks, Eric

Had a momentary brain fart, but it goes to the BATTERY gauge, the terminal closest to the driver's door if I recall correctly.

Educated guess: It connects to the switch wire which leads to the bucket motors.

A picture from my 65, which also has an in-line fuse to protect the gauge. I notice mine is not connected on the terminal closest to the driver's door.

Thanks! The back of my gauge looks upside down compared to yours, so it may indeed go on the terminal closest to the door in my case, but I am not sure so I am going to leave it off for now. I learned it is for radio noise suppression (AM band) and the one on the regulator is the most important.

I noticed the red needle on the battery gauge is not faded like the other gauges, so apparently it was replaced at some point.
