My 1st split window cp in 1980
I was told no one could or would want to rebuild this car, I did in 6 months from a total wreck to a car I drove 20 years, without as much as a crack in the paint. Almost all body parts where from GM. See photo the red one not on the trailer.

When I sold the car I would let people bring there vette (experts) to look at the car when they got done looking at the car and told the prospective buyer it looks perfect, all the seams and bonding strips where perfect, looks like a no hit car. I would bring out the photo album that showed every step of the rebuild down to replacing the entire bird cage, I had fun with that. To there defense There was not one screw put in any panel to glue them back on I made jigs to hold everything a lot of work. The new buyer still has the car today, his only complaint is the automatic trans.
