1967 427 400HP 3x2 ser#.....5139 engine assembly
I bought this engine to install in my 67 Cvt as it is within 150 units from my car that does not have the correct engine. It is a JC coded 400HP 3x2 engine with all proper parts and includes what is essentially a long block. I just overhauled the engine completely with stock or better than stock parts. Forged pistons etc. This was over $4K. The block was not decked. (photos are prior to overhaul)
I thought before i install someones original engine in my car, i better check if the car is out there somewhere.

Le Mans Master
Original RF block from '63 coupe VIN #16309
Block is stamped 3116309 and F0515RF (factory injected). Heads and FI unit now with it might be original for the same car, but I have no way of verifying that.
I believe this car is currently titled in VA. If you own it, I'll put you in touch with the block owner who is terminally ill in Texas. I'm not financially involved in this transaction.

1966 427 engine on Ebay - VIN 6113996
This block is listed on Ebay. The seeler says he has the engine disassembled.
Here is the text of his ad...
I have an original 1966 Corvette 427 425 HP engine. 942 4 bolt block. Not converted or stamped block.
It is still stamped with the original VIN numbers. T0211 IP 6113996.
It is the real deal. It has the correct dated 858 heads, 6223 crank, and a set of dimpled rods. It is completely disassembled and will need to be rebuilt.
It is bored .060 over and has one sleeve. Prefer local pickup, but will ship at buyers expense.
Located in Noblesville IN near Indianapolis IN.
Questions call Steve 317 987 8890
According to NMVTIS, the car still exists..
TitleCheck has located a NMVTIS record for VIN 194376S113996
YEAR: 2003

1958 Corvette Paperwork --- Free to proper owner
I have paperwork, would be very valuable to the current owner, of a couple cars. They were owned by a family member from new and in the 1960's by a family member. These are free to the legitimate current owner of the cars. Both cars were built in the first 100 cars of 58. This at least narrows it down. Email me with your VIN and a way to contact you if you have a low VIN car. Again, these are free. I just want to see them reunited with their cars. I know how excited I would be to have these for my car. I appreciate everyone's help. Thanks Al Email: mustangles2@hotmail.com

'65 Corvette VIN 1330 Engine Block
This came in a '65 I bought, but it's not original to our car. Would be nice to reunite it with it's original car.

Initially, I thought the chances of finding my original motor were like trying to find 1 needle in several hay stacks. After reading through the 19 pages of posts, I feel like it is now down to about 1 hay stack.
Great job of the all the guys who keep this dream alive. You guys are very impressive.
(and yeah, I'm looking for the original block to my 62 - VIN is 20867s111983)
