Folks, some reminders:
As stated in the OP, this thread is for VIN stamped parts and docs to be listed, that people have or found somewhere. Please do not post "wanted" posts here.
If everyone started posting their cars' VINs here looking for blocks, parts and documents, the thread would be overrun. This is for Orphan parts and documents that we are trying to get back with their cars. Thanks. 
Also, if you are listing an ebay ad or a Craigslist ad, if you could copy the ebay link or the ebay or Craigslist text, that would be great, because that info disappears in a short time and your post wont provide direction down the road. Thanks again.

1966 Corvette 427 425hp block for sale. Has been bored 60 over, otherwise is as it came from the factory. Hasn't been decked or anything like that. In great shape. Listed in the C2 Registry stated that it had a fire. Not sure if the car is still around or was stripped for parts, but the engine for it is for sale on craigslist.

this is an odd one.. Nolan Adams said there were a very few that used the 961 block (in early production) as apposed to the 942 block.. interesting..

From Cleveland CL:
1966 Corvette 327 with matching Fulie heads. Top Front of Block Numbers are 6109078 FI2IIHT. 350 horsepower. Block Casting on back 3858174. Head Casting Number 3890462 They are the 2.02 Intake 1.6. Head Date Code J316. Turns over by hand just fine. Willing to take oil pan off for serious buyers. Comes with Engine Stand. No intake or carb. Pickup in Wellington OH Asking 2250 OBO.
Will consider trades for a 68, 69, 70, 71, 72 C10 of equal value in need of restoration. I would be willing to add small amount cash too depending on truck and condition. If trading, I would be willing to deliver engine for serious buyer with Trade of truck.

I'm not sure where to post this so I'll try here & hopefully one of the moderators will assist. I had bought a box of C3 parts from a friend about 35 years ago for one of my builds, while going through the box recently, a VIN plate fell out as I was tearing up the box for the trash, I tried contacting the friend who sold me the stuff & I learned that he had died, the VIN plate is for an early 63 convertible, if I can find who the owner is, I will send it to him for the cost of registered mail only, but that person must be able to prove he does in fact own this car, I welcome any inqueries or suggestions in trying to return this to its current owner. After all these years I am doubtful if the car or the owner can be found, but I am taking this opportunity to try to find the owner of this important identification piece. As a retired Deputy Sheriff officer, I am well aware of how these items are misused by car thieves, therefore I will not sell it and if after sufficient time I cannot find the legal owner of this part, it will be turned over to the state police in my state for proper disposal.
