I have a 427 block stamped TO509IP and 6121775. Casting is a 3869942. And HIPERF and a Casting date B 4 6. The engine is in my ‘66 Convertible, but not the right VIN. I’d love to find the car it belongs to or possibly sell it to someone who needs a correct block.

Some early ownership documentation for 1964 Corvette with VIN 40867S116184... possibly the original owner. (This comes from the eBay sale of a 1966 Corvette.)

A zoomed image of the Temp Registration lists VIN 40867S116184 for the 1964 Corvette Convertible trade-in:
The POP for the 1966 Corvette would list the owner info for both the new Corvette and 1964 trade-in:

I am not sure. A quick google search yeilded no results with the vin number So if it’s fake it’s just made up for no reason.
I saw this posting for a ‘66 327 engine for sale in Ohio listed on Craigslist for VIN #6109078. Hopefully this posting will help reunite it with the car.

Someone just typed up a reproduction...not even close (in appearance) to the real thing. Look at the font and URL codes on the attached for comparison.
