This is a shp 350 hp engine for sale. Block has never been bored. Head are double hump 462s with 202 valves and 64cc chambers. Heads have been reconditioned and have been in storage since rebuild. Date on block is Nov.21,1966 and the date on the heads are both Nov. 22, 1966. Engine pad date is Dec.1,1966. Includes items in pictures and some items not in pictures such as balancer, water pump etc.

That looks like a nice find. It appears to be from a 1964 Corvette, serial number 17,722. The block was cast on April 8, 1964, and the engine was assembled on April 15, 1964. If the engine suffix is RE, it was a 365 HP engine. If the suffix turns out to be RF, it was a fuel injected engine.
I'm going to re-post this with the preferred subject heading info that includes the year and the serial number, so that anyone looking for this engine is more likely to find it here.

A friend of mine has a complete 427, Air cleaner to oil pan, that he bought in PA over 15 years ago. He was told it came out of a 1967 roadster. The owner pulled it and replaced it with a 350. He wanted better mileage. He sold the 1934 Ford Coupe that he had planned to put it in. He would like to see it go back to the original car. Here are photos of the stamped numbers and casting numbers. It has the tri-carbs and triangle air cleaner.
