Not true. Quality is more related to the cost that a vendor is willing to pay to have an item manufactured. Do you shop at Costco? A number of their items are made in China and are of very good quality. The reason is that Costco is willing to pay a reasonable price to have something manufactured. When it comes to C2 reproduction parts many vendors look for the factory that will produce the part at the lowest possible cost. Of course quality will then suffer.

The problem is that the website forces me to choose the "without pockets" option. It seems there is no model with mirror pockets. Did I miss something?

Covercraft is one of the best car covers on the market. I use the Evolution as a nice middle of the road indoor/outdoor cover for two other cars. The fit is great (other than the racer which has a roll bar) but still a good fit.
Also, it appears that their sale price is much lower than direct from Covercraft.
The one I ordered for my Mustang came with a sleeve and plastic grommet to cut into the cover for a fixed antenna
