Default Out for a nice drive.

Took the 65, my wife and Spanky the terrier out for a nice 50 mile ride to see Christmas lights in Eaton, Ohio.
Nice clear cool (40 degrees) EVENING.

Real nice day yesterday in Southern Ohio to take a ride in the 65, the weather is going to turn to crap this week.

Yea, the LED tail lights fit right in with the Christmas display...

Nice pics Good to see someone else still driving in the snow belt as Christmas approaches. I'm still driving here on Cape Cod while I can.

Neat idea for a photo op. We usually take out the Grand Sport and just ride around looking at Christmas light displays. This year I might take the 62 and take some pictures.
A few weeks ago we was in a Christmas Open House Parade in Historic Kimmswick ,Mo. with the 62. We had Christmas lights wired around the windows of the Corvette, you could see them too good in the day time.
Pictures from the parade:

As long as there is no salt on the roads I drive my 65 coupe.
I keep it insured because out here you never know what the weather will be.
It is supposed to be around 60 degrees tomorrow.

Thanks for your Avatar comment.
The picture was taken by a women with a super camera and she then merged a few pictures to get the effect.

Man, that is a beautiful car. Good that you got to take a drive before the weather gets bad.
