Default c2 eng and tran

I am attempting to find out what eng and tran came in a 63 I am looking at, pics only so far. I am using the Noland Adams tech guide vol 2. Looking at pg 188 my vehicle vin/serial falls between 3115888-3115969, one of 81 engines produced with eng #fo409rf which means all these eng where 360 hp FI with manual trans? Since the car I am looking at has no eng and tran and shows no sign of manual tran or FI I am thinking that I am not understanding what the book shows or the car has been drastically changed over the yrs. Am I reading the info correctly? Thanks for your help.

I don't understand what relationship you're trying to make - the car's VIN number has absolutely nothing to do with whatever engine was installed in it originally; it could have been anything from a 250hp to a fuelie. All midyears had the clutch linkage tower welded to the frame, whether they were manuals or automatics.
