building a 62 vette rest-mod and I want to put the trans controller and fuse box that comes with an LS-3 connect & cruise package in the trunk. Anybody ever have these lengthened? If so who did you use?

Lengthening the harness is very easy. You can buy the wire, terminal ends, and connectors from mouser. You can use Delphi 150 terminals and connectors, simply all of the wires about a 18 inches from the fuse box and add a new connector end, do the same to the other end, then build a connector cable to bridge the two pieces at whatever length you need. Just make certain you use the same gauge wire. I was going to place my fuse box under the hood, but now that you mentioned this I may place mine in the rear as well. Before you cut the wires make certain you isolate and pull back the wires feeding the dash, they are on a separate connector near the fuse box.
