Default 3959512 block- safe overbore? and stroke?

I've looked back through the past threads about this particular block, but really didn't get the answer I was looking for. I have one of these blocks in the 2 bolt small journal configuration. I was wondering if the cylinder walls are any thicker than an 870 block, as it is already bored .040, and there is one cylinder with water rusting that I am not positive would clear at .060. Also, I understand that the large journal version of this block makes for a really nice street sleeper with a 3.75 400 crank, but dont know if there is sufficient clearance in the small journal version to clear the stroke or not. any one with experience with this set up? thks

Take it to a machine shop and have it sonic tested. Anything else is just a guess
