Default Small block fuel pumps

Just enjoyed my second tow in six months, any ideas who has/ makes a great fuel pump? This is getting crazy, the flaps ones don't seem to be built well.

Thanks

I'd use a carter or gm performance pump. I had a new Delco pump bad right out of the box. Running a Carter super pump now.

If you're looking for function and not judging, this fuel pump replacement by AIRTEX will fill the bill. Just swap out your inlet and outlet fittings from your old pump and you're good to go.

Got this at Advance Auto Parts, part #4657...approx $50.00.

One thing to keep in mind is that there is a sock/filter located inside the fuel tank attached to the pick up tube on the sender. If you are experiencing a no fuel situation from two different pumps there may another issue going on with a clogged in tank sock.

I also want to add that the steel fuel line should be looked at to be sure there is not a suction leak.

AirTek pumps seem to be a cut above most of the Chinesium stuff. However proper flow is necessary. E.g. clean sender sock, proper tank venting, and, no collapsed rubber lines.
