Default 1967 ac evaporator outer housing replacement

Guys,
I am attempting to clean up and redo my engine side ac box...I didnt realize it would be so annoying...I took all the screws out and am trying to pull the sections apart....its more rusty than I thought and doesn't seem to want to come apart....is there a vendor who makes a new one or sales a cleaned one..?

Once you remove the metal box. That comes apart in three sections you can clean and repaint them black. Put a new seal kit in it and it will look good as new

I got them out and the thing is apart. In three parts...however on one part there is a rusty area which is rusted through. It looks like itcould be replaced and repaired....but is there someone who reproduces this....?

I do not believe any if the metal parts are being reproduced. That would be a very small market. You could check with Paragon or LIC. but you will either have to repair the part or find it used. Which I would think you would have to buy a complete system as I don't think anyone would part it out. The best thing is once installed in the car and painted it would be hard to see where a patch job would have been. Post some pictures if you could

I expect I can get some of the same gauge sheet metal and cut and replace the bad areas....once powder coated, shouldnt be noticeable.
