Anyone have an easy way to remove the center piece on 67 bolt on knock off wheels without causing damage ?

Regards Bill

The 66 I bought last week had a suction cup packed in the tool area and it works very well. I have no idea where they can be purchased, though.

The 67 didn't have the same caps, it had a starburst center. There was no spinner, so that's why the question "bolt on knockoff?".

Knock-off was easier to say and type than "factory aluminum wheel"? Sting Ray people know it's a bolt-on if it's original.

A very easy and effective tool is an ordinary seal puller. Use a soft cloth behind the base where it touches the wheel, give a pull, off it comes. I have the Tekton 5741 puller, a whopping $8 @ Amazon

Default Bolt On , Not Origonal K-H

The wheels are bolt on and the center star burst is held on by 4 or 5 clips . The wheels are not original . The clips are what I would describe as alligator type . They seem to have a good bite .
