Be safe and and smart, get 205/70/15 radials. Height is very close to stock and will nor through off your speedometer. Dennis

If you want to add just a bit more tire, try the 215-65x15. I have that size on both midyears (both with KO's) and no rub or interference issues. You can swap the speedo driven gear to correct the speedometer, they are pretty cheap to buy. I'm pretty sure you'll find some others chiming in that are running larger tires.

Dave, welcome to the Corvette Forum, I see this is your first post. When you get the chance, post up some pics of your 67.

Did you order/buy the tires from DiamondBack? If so, are you aware of or did they offer to you, the smoothy sidewall? A free option to consider.

Be careful with wide tires. I'm fixing a cracked fender now from wide tires. I went back to the standard size...

Isn't 205/75/15 the correct replacement?

The original 7.75-15 is closer to a 195/78-15, if such a size still existed.
205/75 is as close as they make today
215/70 will fit on stock rims.
