Default front parking light repair c1

Just removed right&left parking lights housings.
They both would no longer accept bulbs from corrosion, led conversion using my old housing would be my choice for repair.
Anyone pull the repair off lately.share any info.the back I've seen advertised but not front.

Recommend you start a separate thread instead of mixing apples and oranges

If the sockets are toast, LED's won't work because they fit in like the original bulbs did from what I see. What you could do is remove the old sockets from the housings with a Dremel like tool and get some universal sockets that plug in to the holes. Then with a good power supply, it's your choice. When you instal the new socket, make sure that you put a dab of sodier to the old housing to insure a good ground.

I bought universal sockets from the local flaps for a couple bucks each and they work fine.

At the end of the day it's cheaper and less time consuming to buy new ones
