The guy in Cali flipped it to this guy in NC. it was on CL and Ebay in recent months. The 66 above.

Does anyone know what the asking price on the 66 coupe in Raleigh NC was prior to the purchase by the current owner? Anyone have an opinion on this car?

65 coupe (Post 2668) is not sold....yet. A potential buyer is flying in from Amsterdam to inspect the car today at 11am (TX time).

This story just keeps getting better and better. I have called this broker four times now and every time the story changes, but the car is not sold.

Just spoke to broker on 65 coupe (post 2668). Car was sold to the international buyer, who apparently is a broker in the Netherlands. Comes to the USA and buys classics to flip over there. Paid 50 for it....as the story goes.

First he has to pay shipping, insurance add 6% tax on the total value and maybe invest 1.000 EUR to get it on the european roads
Maybe he gets 70K EUR from the dutch buyer, who wants to see the vette before he buys her.
