Not without major chopping of the C5 frame. The 1st CR Coachworks modification was a chopped down C4 or C5 and you can read what it took. After the prototype they switched to making a completely new body to go on stock C4 and up frame.

This car has great possibilities of a being someone's worst nightmare. Need lots more info.

I particularly enjoyed the pic of it up on a lift - showing only a rear view of the car from a distance, with no view of the undercarriage. What is a prospective buyer supposed to learn from that? Maybe that the frame didn’t break apart when lifted?

I'm out of my element here, but the price (to me) seemed realistic. Very tempted to go look at the car. My favorite year Corvette in my favorite color combo, almost. (needs the silver cove). Just my type of car, too: a driver.

Yeah, it is a survivor with an engine rebuild and a repaint.

Compared to what? I own a 57 and keep a pretty good eye on the market and I would say it is worth every bit of that if not more. The car is screaming for silver side cove paint IMO. It is listed in the classified here BTW.

I agree - my favorite C1 / combo also! The coves could always be painted.......

I’d be tempted too, if I thought I could fit in it comfortably and would actually drive it often enough to justify the expenditure!

From the description in the classifieds here that car is somewhat similar to my 57 with my stealth 383 dual quad set up and he has similar rebuilt items to my car. The original dual quads are worth $5K as is the 5 speed. I proabably have close to $100K in my car, it adds up quickly.

If you guys are interested in hearing more about my upgrades we can do it in an email.
