I actually like the '61. I know it's far from original but it's still a nice car. I've never seen anyone do that color combination before.
The big problem is that the seller says the car is all original. That car is so far from original the seller has to have Stevie Wonder vision. Why would anyone even say that about that particular car.

Up for sale is my 1967 Sunfire Yellow Coupe, This is a numbers matching car except for the rear end gearing. I had a 3:55 rear gear put in to get better gas mileage and also to help take some of the stress off of the motor when just driving down the highway. This is a Sunfire Yellow with Black interior with a 327 350 hp 4 speed M20 transmission, AM/FM radio, with power steering and power windows and headlights open and close as they should. Yow can be proud to take this car on a road trip anywhere and feel safe about doing it. This car will also turn heads where ever you take it and will also do well in your local car shows. With the side pipes people will hear you coming and stare as you cruise by them. This is a no hit car and the undercarriage is as clean as the top side of the car. Sorry I do not have a lift to put the car up in the air to take a pic of it. It has a couple of small paint chips from rocks but just about any driver car that you do not make a trailer queen out of will have a few paint chips. Most of them have been touched up and you probably will not be able to see them anyway. I did install an adapter for the screw on oil filters but I still do have the original oil canister so the adaptor can be removed and you can go back to using the canister if you like. Personally I think they suck but that is just me. The red line tires are like new condition, as a matter a fact the entire car is almost like new but original condition. If you are interested in my car it is $64,000.00. This car is more the worth the asking price and as the midyear Corvettes continue to go up in price they are about the best thing to spend your money on and you get to drive and enjoy it also plus the price of the midyear Corvettes just keep going up and up each year. There definitely are some good buys. One sticks out to me is the 63 fuelie that was run thru Mecum Harrisburg. With a non matching number motor and a bid price of 98K I think it was strong money. Of course I didn't see the car in person however I have seen other fuelies for a lot less.
I'll keep looking and again thanks for your efforts.

I know this car, nice driver '62, nice couple own it.
The car has some paint issues, but is otherwise a decent driver, I see it every year at the Stowe VT antique car weekend.
Again, a lot of us look for sub 40K cars, and we have to be realistic about what we can get in that price range.
If you are REALLY looking for a driver, you can find some great NOM cars at this price point. This one looks like it'd foot the bill as a nice driver. 66 corvette - $35000 (Middleburg va)
I am coming to a crossroad of life and the CAR has to go ! it is a 66 corvette in good condition. garage kept for over 30 years, it needs a minor facelift hear and there, still a wonderful car that will be missed. It is not the original motor ! It gave out one day about 20 years ago, Me and my father mechanic business owner purchased a 327 block and built it back to almost same exact specs with some of the original 11:1 pistons to accomplish 350 to 360 HP. 4 SPEED MANUAL
This is a very nice 1965 Stingray Coupe. Everything works & I would trust it to drive anywhere.
It has factory A/C & PS. The odometer shows 63K & the car acts like that is actual, but who knows?
