Not really a barn find but a car port find. Elderly original owner. Car hasn't run in years.

Wonder where it will end up? Looks like a great auction venue at Sullivan Auctioneers. Here's their
2018 auction. You can buy a C2 and a John Deere backhoe all at one auction.

One way to look at this vehicle is the yellow and the automatic (plus the fact that it's decently optioned) make this a 1 of <some low #> car, and subsequentially a nice investment. And another person might say, "Well, just because it's a 1 of <some low #> car doesn't mean it would be enjoyable to drive and/or own."

If I liked yellow a LOT more than I currently do I think I would have gone to take a look to take a look at this car - for all the reasons I've posted above (except the yellow paint).
Lets see here...Yellow, 300hp, coupe, auto, $70K? Nope.

I think it's all the issues that 16,000? mile car shows.

I wonder what the frame looks like on this? Not the best location for metal preservation.

The 66 listed as item #2 in post 4172 above looks like a possible good deal if the description is true and condition can be verified. Not enough pics to substantiate the description, and I do wonder about the front hood fittment.

Price alone speaks volumes...a 435 car under $100k?

My folks found this '62 today at an auction in upstate SC. They said it looked in decent shape, but not immaculate (which seems like it should be with only 511 on the clock. Can't be right.). Just wanted to throw it up here in case anyone wanted to take a stab at it, or had any thoughts. I think the last bid I saw was 48K, which seems decent for a matching numbers (supposedly), power window fuelie...
