My first impression was that it sure looked like a car that I came across on the internet in the past year. It could have even been in this thread. I don't recall the price. But my impression was that it seemed reasonable. Of course I could be wrong. I was hoping if it was the car that someone else remembered it as well.
Huh? There is no mention of such in this listing. Are you saying that you saw this car was recently sold with a trim tag that indicated it was originally a silver car? If so, perhaps this "new" listing is someone trying to flip it to make a buck. If previously listed, what was the prior seller asking for it?

If I lived in the area, I'd go check it out. Driven 4 years and parked ever since. If true, it could be a no hit body with the original engine and tranny. Would need lots of work, but $60K would not be too far off in the best case scenario.
I think thats why he didnt clean it up and left it like he found it.
It hard to tell from pics but could be a gem.

My only problem, and it may be explained away, is the comment "no damage ever" If it was driven four years and parked for 51 years, where the heck was it parked for the surfaces, particularly the interior, to look so ragged? There is clearly damage to the interior. Was it flood damaged?
It may be.... and I, along with Bowtyeguy and any other people who search and post cars here are not trying to deceive anyone.
We screen out the ones we know are bogus, but I am sure some will slip through. Buyer beware in all cases.
I appreciate the time & effort that goes into to helping keep this thread going, so I'd rather have the occasional scam get posted, so it can be commented on and avoided, than have the thread die.
