Thanks Bowtie guy for this thread. It's a great way to judge the current prices in the market, ALTHOUGH I wonder what the selling prices have been, instead of the asking prices. What do you think?.....10-15% less?

Rod Saboury. He is from a little town in Maryland and for the last 40 odd years has been buying and selling Corvettes and making race cars out of them. He is a metal roofer by trade and has the quite the reputation around this area. I know him though my dad who has known him almost his entire adult life

These days, some drivers/owners prefer the automatic due to ease of operation. Most automatic cars are in much better shape overall years on, as they were not beat to death like the more performance-focused stickshift cars. I think the price of this one would be much more attractive if it was south of 50k, though. You never know.

I have a suggestion. But first, let me add my "dittos" to those thanking Bowtieguy and others for all the posts here. It is a very useful resource.
Now the idea, and two reasons for it. Would it be possible to post the asking price along with the CL link?
FIRST - it gives us a rough idea of what the car might be. If I see something for $110,000, I'm just going to keep moving down the line of dance. Anything I pay 6 figures for will have a doorbell, a driveway, and the potential for rental income. OTOH, if someone is after an NCRS quality BB beauty, no matter how good a pic looks he won't bother clicking with a '67 coupe for $51,000.
SECOND is the historical reference. Once the CL ad is removed, the link is useless. With an asking price in the ads, someone looking at a red '62 fuelie could go back and at least see what was asked for another back in February, and the one before that in November. Obviously condition, options etc all play into price but at least it would give a rough idea.
If this does not fly, no problem, just thought I'd see what others think about that concept.

Thats one of Rods cars, so it hasn't sat in his garage for long.
He buys and sells Corvettes and is knowledgeable on them.
As all used cars for sale, they have to be seen in person.
All 4 in Manchester are his plus the front end
