Default T5 Transmission and proper bellhousing for C2 or C3

I have a T5 WC 5 Speed transmission and bellhousing for sale. I decided to go with a turbo hydro since my left knee won't handle a clutch anymore. The Trans number is 13-52-176 which is the one you want for a Corvette. It is from a 1988 V8 Camaro with TBI. 2.95 1st gear and .63 5th gear. I had the trans opened up by a reputable transmission guy and looked at, with an order to repair if needed. He said it looked good and he would just run it. As you know there are several threads on the site about how to install one of these. I am asking $500 for both pieces including a custom made crate for the transmission. Plus shipping. I believe the trans number you are refering to might be a 4 speed since all 5 speeds start with 13-52.

splitdecions63,

Not sure what you have but here is a web site thats devoted to T5 transmissions. Read up on this as the T5 transmission you really want to install is the beefier World Class (WC) designated transmissions.

http://www.britishv8.org/Articles/Bo...T5-ID-Tags.htm

mrichard's package is one of 2 transmissions I would prefer to go after. The 1352-176 and the 1352-196 are both WC T5s and they both have a final overdrive ratio of .63.

I don't know mrichard, but unless you have a WC coded T5 transmission, I don't think (depending on your horsepower) the non WC T5s will stand up.

Just my .02.

Good luck in your decision.

Regards,

Jim

Default T5 WC 5 Speed Transmission

Mrichard,
Seen the T5. I'm interested. I need to limit the price to $400.00 plus shipping. Let me know and we can work out the method of payment.
