I have to say that interior options matter. I'll take a black with black, or blue, or red, or saddle interior over my #2 paint choice. Some paint choices for me (L blue, silver) are only on the list for me with one interior choice.

My coupe was built in Sunfire Yellow and had been painted Rally Red by the time I bought in 1984. When I had to have some cracks fixed, I chose to have it repainted Lynndale Blue.

ragtop- marina, marlboro, goodwood
came soooo close to a 67 red 390 coupe in 1970, hit in left rear quarter while parked, tried to get it from a half azz body shop who ended up stripping an otherwise perfect car because the guy couldn't pay storage.
then the 67 goodwood raftop in 1968. 435 with white stinger..it was raining that night... $$4,300.. guy complained of bad mileage.
stop, stop, can't take the memories
