Thanks for the pictures
Thanks for the pictures Rich. I almost feel like I'm there.
The cars are sharp and immaculate. Are most of the folks from close by? How far have they traveled to be there? I can't imagine that too many people would risk driving their beautiful cars across the country with our roads in such bad condition. Enclosed trailers are a must.
I'll be checking back to see how your adventures at Sun n Fun are going. Thanks for the videos and pictures. Show us some of the Vendors and swap meet and car carrals if you get the chance.

Talked to a 3 car transport driver late yesterday. That one in the last pics with the tailgat half way up. Nice rig.
He brought that '53 and the 2 60's all the way from Arizona for judging. 35 hours on the road.

Thanks for all the pictures and video Rich, I just missed you at the gate, we must have been right behind you (11:45) We just pulled in. I must say that this was, bar none, the very best Corvette show I have ever attended and it didn't cost me a cent, except for all the goodies I purchased at the swap meet. Also got to me some forum members, Frankie the Fink, Mike Coleta and Mark6669. Awesome show, thanks

Yes - met a lot of new friends. Spent some time at John Gammel's (sp?) '61 with Rich prior to its judging....very nice car. Met a bunch of forum members for the first time.
It was also the first longish run for the split window...the lil 250hp mill ate up the 59 miles down and back without a hitch...
Weather just couldn't have been any better and I hope it holds up for the next two days. Supposed to get some rain today/tomorrow...that's another advantage of the new venue though. Judged cars are staged in a big aircraft hanger...

BTW (and a little off topic) - that inspection lift shown in the hanger in Rich's wonderful collage is the exact one that I have. Just thought it was interesting as it shows the caster wheels in place and the lift legs slightly elevated (for those that wonder how this works). Lowering the lift ramps down onto the caster wheel counter arms leverages the lift airborne.
One person can easily push the lift around on flat surfaces - two is better...

Rich,
Thanks for posting these. Bugs me I'm missing it this year.....
Funny, I spent a couple days helping a local 58 owner get his car prepped for PV. Looking at your pics I thought I saw it, the Panama Yellow 58, but that is not his. So there should be two Panama Yellow 58's going through PV. If you run into him, his name is John, tell him whoever did his windshield gasket didn't know what they were doing..... (His old one was leaking and I installed a new one for him a couple weeks back)
That 71 LS5 is my twin........ Nice car.
Keep up the great reporting!

In about 1 hour(it's 8pm now), check out this 5 minute vid I did today from my car while driving around the facility.
Sorry for the shaky hand, but you'll get the idea.

Lots of good pictures. It was good to see John Neas 56 Sebring racer get so much coverage.

Rich,
Great pictures.
You made my day when I ran into you while you were directing traffic at the exit. Very nice meeting and talking with you and thanks for the "tool", which I will use when I get home.
Thanks,
Bruce B.

Friday Judging day......
A walk through like you were there. Had a little camera issue and made a separate part 2 which will be uploaded later. I couldn't get everything uploaded last night. Tyler invited me to a little BDay party for his lovely daughter. I managed to get lost going to the WRONG Olive Garden, but finally arrived. Great time with new friends for me.
Tyler and the crew are to be commended for their hard work. You cannot imagine what it takes to pull-off this type of event. Just volunteering for a few hours of traffic duty is absolutely nothing in comparison to what these folks do.
Thanks Tyler and the entire staff.
Fixed Part 2.....
SR1 #7 running. Blurry but noisy.:-)
Rich
....heading over for traffic control this second. Rains came in last night as predicted, but is clearing now as I write this.
I'm betting the day is going to turn out good.
