Nice! Fisher married a woman by the name Titus. They were out of Norwalk, Ohio. There are many references in town to Body By Fisher. The hospital Sharon works out of is known as Fisher Titus Medical Center.....they had given a boat load of money and the land it sits on today with its campus to the hospital years ago and hence the name. And now you know the rest of the story!

A cool piece of history. The "safety of steel" in 1951 cracked me up. AIR most cars had steel DASHBOARDS and RIGID steering columns, but "safety belts" were DANGEROUS.
BTW anybody know the last year those "Body by Fisher" sill plates were installed on the assembly line?

I expect that it was made for the benefit of the dealers as a sales tool, to better inform salesmen about the product. Remember that in 1951 there was no such thing as a video, sound film projectors and screens were ungainly and expensive, and very few homes had TV, which in those days had 9" b&w screens and there was no programming that would show such a film.
